Michele is a Neuro-affirming Counsellor at Neurodiverse.

 

She is a qualified counsellor (Bachelor of Counselling) and Advanced EFT Practitioner specialising in neurodiverse-affirming support.

Therapeutic expertise

  • Neurodiverse-affirming counselling using person-centred and strengths-based approaches

  • Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and somatic-informed interventions for emotional regulation and nervous system stability

  • Mental health support for burnout, chronic stress, grief, and emotional fatigue — with particular skill supporting parents and carers
     

Assessment & care planning

  • Comprehensive intake assessments, needs evaluation, and collaborative goal setting

  • Tailored, person-centred support plans aligned with NDIS goals

  • Crisis intervention and debriefing, including experience providing 24-hour on-call support
     

Disability & community support

  • Deep NDIS experience across intake, capacity building, and daily living skills

  • Wellbeing checks and welfare assessments for older adults and vulnerable community members

  • Skilled at reducing social isolation and building trust and psychological safety
